Fiverr's Fee Structure in 2026

Fiverr charges sellers a flat 20% service fee on every order, regardless of order size. This applies to the base gig price, tips, and gig extras. There is no tiered system, no loyalty discount, and no volume exemption — the rate is 20% for everyone at all times.

The fee is deducted before your earnings are added to your balance. A $100 gig earns you $80. A $500 project earns you $400. Build this cost into your pricing from the start — many sellers multiply their target take-home by 1.25 to set the gig price: $100 target × 1.25 = $125 gig price → $125 × 0.80 = $100.00 earned.

Withdrawal Fees

In addition to the 20% service fee, Fiverr charges withdrawal fees: PayPal withdrawals cost 2% of the withdrawal amount (minimum $1), Payoneer charges a fixed fee, and direct bank transfers in the US are free for transactions over $1,000. Always factor withdrawal costs into your net earnings calculation.

How Fiverr Pro and Seller Levels Affect Earnings

Unlike some platforms, Fiverr does not lower its commission rate for higher-tier sellers. A Top Rated Seller pays the same 20% as a new seller. The benefits of higher seller levels are increased visibility, higher order limits, and access to Fiverr Pro — not reduced fees. Read the full Fiverr fees guide →
